Our Classes

SLA offers a rich variety of parent-taught and student-led classes every Friday. Browse our current schedule below.

How It Works

Every Friday follows a 3-hour block structure designed to nurture character, community, and creativity.

Homeroom (9:15–10:15)

Age-grouped character education, devotional time, and community building. Every child belongs to a Homeroom with peers their age, led by a parent Mentor.

Mom Class + Youth-Led (10:15–10:45)

Concurrent sessions: Parents attend Mom Class for fellowship and enrichment, while Youth Mentors (12+) lead activities for the younger students.

Electives (10:45–11:45)

Family-selected classes in art, music, science, literature, history, P.E. and more — taught by parent Mentors who are passionate about their subject.
